Hello!
How are you? How was your week? This is Arthur, and I would like to talk about taking your chances.

A sunny day
Spring is on the way! The days are getting longer and warmer. Thursday was the warmest day of the year so far in the UK. The sky was blue and the sun was shining. The weather forecast said that the temperature would reach 18 degrees.
I decided it was a good day to do the laundry. I took all the sheets and covers off our children's beds and put them in the washing machine. Luckily, our washing machine is pretty big.
I hung the washing out, and it was dry in about two hours. As I was taking it off the washing line, I thought of an English saying:
"Make hay while the sun shines."
If you translate this phrase directly into Japanese, it means "太陽が輝いている間に干し草を作れ".
The meaning is that you should take advantage of a good situation, or "好機を逃さないで。積極的にチャンスを活かそう。"
I think it's important to be ready to take chances when they come to you. If you have a chance to use English in conversation, take it! If you are studying English vocabulary and feeling good, keep going!
When the sun is shining, do you always make hay?
